Millie joins us for the start of November and you'll see her take classes on her return from holiday later in the month Here is Millie's bio ... I’ve worked in the fitness industry for five years, after discovering my passion for Olympic Weightlifting - a journey that inspired me to transition from my career in Interior Architecture. Focussing on getting strong - not skinny - in the gym completely transformed my mindset and my life, and I want every female to experience that empowerment! I now compete in Weightlifting, but when I’m not under a barbell, you’ll probably find me listening to country music, line dancing (yes, really!), or getting dressed up to enjoy a glass of prosecco or an Aperol spritz. ------------------------------------------------------------- LAST CALL - CHRISTMAS PARTY - 6TH DEC The deadline for signing up to our Christmas party has being set for WED 5TH NOVEMBER - You can speak to any of our team for details on how to book on. We have already started to work through the responses and hope that you enjoy seeing the improvements over the coming weeks. ------------------------------------------------------------- LESLIE'S NUTRITION TIP Finding the Sweet Spot for Health Effort Focus on the habits that yield the biggest impact—like sleep, movement, and whole foods—rather than chasing marginal gains from extreme or costly “optimization” tactics. Real results come from getting really consistent with the basics: • get >150 minutes of moderate/75 minutes of vigorous exercise per week + resistance train 2x/week **you hit this goal by attending at least 3 classes per week!** • sleep 7-8 hours a night at least 5 days per week (more on this in the weeks to come as I know it’s a challenging one for all of us!) • eat whole foods, keep processed food to a minimum and make good quality protein and veg the star of every meal **Need help creating these consistent nutrition habits? When booking classes on your Go Team Up app, be sure to check the top left corner to see which membership option is showing. After booking a class using your pack, this can then default to the membership for the next time you book.
