Chris Lupton
Founder

Chris is the founder of the company and began as a 1-1 Personal Trainer back in 2011.

After taking the decisions to transition to group training in 2012, he’s worked hard to weave the best bits of PT (accountability and coaching) with the best bits of group training (structured fitness and camaraderie) to create a program and approach to fitness & wellbeing, that combines a focus on results, with a 5-star level of service and client experience.

Chris has a keen interest in motivation & behavioural change psychology, as well as posture and how the human body moves.

​His 3 daughters are what drives him - both to succeed at work, and also round the bend!

pamela lupton
Fitness, yoga & Accountability Coach ​

Pamela is co-owner, a fitness coach, our nutrition coach, and newly qualified Yoga Coach! 
Her beaming smile, and infectious personality make her extremely popular with all clients, new and old.
She's been known to sweat almost as much as our clients in some sessions - a clear sign that she just oozes energy!
She will also hold your hand through our entry level nutrition plan, and has been responsible for thousands of LBs of weight loss over the years!
She's also a devoted mum of 3 young girls.

Gemma Crabtree
Fitness Coach 

Gemma has a Masters degree in podiatry. She actually LOVES feet! She joined the team as a Fitness Coach in 2015, and leads by example with an insane work ethic. She never asks anyone to do anything she wouldn’t do herself, and is always praising and encouraging clients.

Gemma loves the Coaching and support side of the role, as much as the fitness side, and can often be seen in our online support forums, creating discussions and posting about having a positive mindset.

camilla lindstrom
​Fitness & NUTrition Coach ​

Cam joined innovate in the Summer of 2020, having just moved to Harrogate from London.
As her name suggests, she's Swedish, and has extensive experience working with pre and post-natal clients, having run her own business back in Sweden for several years.
Cam is known for pushing clients - but in a way that suits them individually and gets the most out of them. She has a passion for nutrition and strength training, and loves sharing her message about how "looking good naked" is a byproduct of lifting weights and eating the right things.
Cam is also a mum of 2 young children.

nathan garnham
program consultant & fitness coach

Nathan has a wealth of experience in the industry, having worked in an exercise referral clinic in London, run his own Personal Training & Bootcamps here in Harrogate, and even has a degree in exercise science.

Nathan has a keen interest in biomechanics - how the human body works  - and loves helping clients to move with better technique, to not only avoid pain, but reduce and remove it too.

Since joining the team, he's taken on the roll of speaking to prospective new clients, and being able to really empathise and understand every person's unique situation, so that he can recommend the best program or approach, that's right for the person. This is invaluable in helping clients build confidence.

Nath has a young son who is openly states is his reason 'why' :-)

Hannah was a client for a number of years before we hand-picked as someone with the right enthusiasm and energy to join our team!.

​Her energy and positivity is relentless - literally!
Hannah's job is to keep all our clients happy, to motivate them if they have a lull, and to celebrate all their wins, big or small.
​She is addicted to picking up the phone and making people's day - what an absolute star!
Hannah is also a mum to two young children:-)

Kate is our 'number 2'...... The person who makes sure all the million different moving parts of our business, are working together seamlessly.

She's here to bring order to the chaos - being a forward thinking and innovative company means we are always evolving and trying new stuff! Kate brings a sense of calm to all this, and ensures every nut and bolt is in the right place.

Kate was also a client before she joined the team. Having left the world of  finance and project management, she retrained in fitness, but we decided we needed her other skills too. So we nabbed her!

Kate is a loving mum to two young children, and can be found wearing this green and black hat way too many warmer months of the year!

ANNA GLAZIER
client CARE SPECIALIST

What would we do without Anna? What would our clients do without Anna?
Not a lot!
Anna ensures all our members are happy, deals with a zillion and one client requests and queries, keeps the admin running smoothly, makes sure our gym is in tip top shape and generally acts as the 'glue' which keeps all the parts together! Phew!
Anna is a keen advocate of openly talking about mental health, has run marathons and completed biathlons, and for some reason most of us can't figure out, enjoys cold water swimming in freezing cold rivers!
Anna also has two boys - but they're mostly grown up now!
